Welcome to the shed.
Starting on Thursday, March 28th at 10.00am, The Shed is an exciting new venture for St. James. Initially we'll meet at the back of the Church on Thursdays until after Easter, when we will change to Wednesdays.
We're providing a place for men to come together and share some time being creative! Come and bring some of your hobby with you, whether it's model making painting of repairing bikes, come and do it in the company of others. This will be a place to be creative, or just to chat.
Beginning with just two hours a week, let's see where we go. Maybe you like repairing furniture; maybe you could repair some of the toys used by Little bears; maybe you need help with your lawn mower. Maybe you've skills that you could share with others. Whatever your interest, come and share it with us. We'll provide the tea and coffee, and the place to be.
We're not affiliated to the national shed scheme, but you'll get an idea of where we're coming from at https://menssheds.org.uk/
The only rules are that you have to be 18 or over, and that neither smoking nor alcohol are allowed on the premises or in the grounds.
